PACRAT Fun Race - Timberline

Unfortunately this Sunday's (4/8) Fun Race has been cancelled. Looking at the forecast, it's doubtful that we could get a safe race off, let alone a fun race. Feel free to sleep in or to go ski the fresh powder instead. Since we are unable to collect donations for Mt. Hood Ski Patrol at the race, we have decided to donate the $350 we would have spent on hill fees to them.

We're looking forward to seeing all of you on Saturday, April 14, at the Rat Attack.

   - Ski race at Timberline

   - Golf at The Resort an the Mountain

Mark Stanford is organizing an unofficial PACRAT Ski and Tee event at The Resort at Mountain on Sunday, April 8th at 2 pm after the Fun Race. If you are interested in participating, email mark_c_stanford@hotmail.com.

The green fee including cart is approximately $55 for 18 holes. All PACRAT racers are welcome.

This is Mark's event so please contact him with any questions. If enough people show interest to make this happen, Mark will provide additional information including specific tee times and the Ski & Tee champion trophy (provided by Mark).

The Resort at the Mountain clubhouse reports that the course is in great shape. We'll probably play the Pinecone and Thistle nines.

Rat Attack Awards Party

at Mt. Hood Meadows

Our end-of-the-year Rat Attack party is coming up on Saturday, April 14. We will be having dinner and our award's program at Meadows. After the fun there, we will be heading to Charlie's to dance the night away. We are going with an 80's night theme so start thinking about those outfits! We are asking racers to RSVP to us if you think you will be attending the Rat Attack and if you are bringing a guest.

RSVP to:

We are also looking into renting a coach bus that will leave from Fred Meyer's in Gresham and a Meadow's bus that will leave from Govy. The bus from Gresham will cost $15 per person (gratuity not included). The bus from Govy will cost $10 per person (gratuity included). When you rsvp your intentions for the party, we would also ask that you let us know if you would be interested in riding one of the buses so we can decide if it is feasible.

Be on the lookout for more detailed info regarding the Rat Attack in the coming week or so.

See you on the slopes!
